Loan Servicing Platform Change

What does it mean that my loan servicing is moving to OneMain?

iLoan is transferring the servicing of your loan to a OneMain Financial branded loan servicing platform, which means that the OneMain brand will now handle the management of your loan, including collecting your payments and answering your questions.

Will my account number change?

Yes. You will receive a new account number, which will be reflected on the billing statement you receive from OneMain Financial. Your new account number will be available after September 1st. You can visit the messages section of your iLoan online account to find the number, and you will also receive a separate mailing with your new account number.

How else will this affect my loan?

The only thing that will change about your loan is your account number and the way you make payments. Your contractual loan terms and conditions will remain the same - that includes your loan amount, rate, payment amount and due date. Please review the terms and conditions in your loan agreement for more detailed information.

When does this take effect?

The servicing of your loan will transfer to the OneMain branded servicing platform on September 1, 2018. After September 1, you will be able to access your iLoan account and read your messages, however you will no longer be able to make payments.

Who is OneMain Financial…what do they do?

OneMain Financial owned and operated the iLoan brand. OneMain Financial is America’s premier consumer finance company, offering responsible and transparent personal and auto loans from $1,500 to $30,000. Which name appears on my credit report?

If you pay your loan off prior to September 2018, the name on your credit report will remain iLoan. For all accounts that remain open September 1, 2018 and after, you will see both iLoan and OneMain Financial on your credit report. Beginning in October, your iLoan account will appear as closed with a zero balance and a new OneMain Financial account will show your current balance.

Does this change affect my credit score?

No, the name change on your credit report has no impact on your credit score.

If you have any questions, related to the servicing of your loan, contact OneMain Customer Care at 800-742-5465. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 8 pm ET.
If you have any questions related to payments or concerns about your account being delinquent, please call us at 888-491-8245. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 9 pm ET and Saturday 8 am – 12 pm ET.

Making Payments

Will my payment due date change?

No. Your payment due date will remain the same.

How do I make my payments with OneMain?

Depending on the way you make payments, there could be changes. Refer to the table below for more information on how to make payments.
Auto Pay If you are enrolled in AutoPay, the name of the program will change to Direct Pay, but your payments will continue to be deducted from your bank account as scheduled. After September 1, you will see the OneMain name on your bank statements.

If you were not previously enrolled in automatic payments, you will be able to conveniently enroll in Direct Pay online at after you receive your new account number.
Online Payments If you have already scheduled payments through your iLoan online account, those payments will continue as planned.

After September 1, you will no longer be able to schedule new payments through your iLoan online account. You will need to visit to set up a new online account and make payments. To set up your new account, you will need your first and last name, and new account number.
Mail & Phone Use the address and toll-free phone number listed on your new OneMain statement to make a payment.
Mobile App After September 1, you will have the option to download the OneMain app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to make online payments and manage your account.
Bill Payer Service You can make payments through your personal checking or savings accounts; you will now see OneMain listed on your bank statement.

My payment didn't go through. What do I do?

Please contact OneMain at 800-742-5465. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 8 pm ET.

What happens if my account is set up for AutoPay with iLoan?

Automatic deducting of your monthly payment from your bank account will be applied to your new OneMain account.
  • OneMain will automatically draft your next payment from your bank account.
  • Once you have received your new account number, set up an online account with OneMain to get access to your payment history, statements and more.
  • You will now see the OneMain name on your bank statement instead of iLoan.

There's a OneMain branch close by. Can I start going there to make payments?

Yes. We encourage you to continue to make payments in a way that is easiest for you, including at a local OneMain Financial branch.

What happens if I send a payment to the iLoan address after September 1?

OneMain will accept payments sent to the iLoan address after September 1, 2018. OneMain will apply the payment effective the date it was received.

New OneMain Online Account

Does still work? Can I access my online account?

After September 1, 2018, please visit to set up a new online account. You will need your new OneMain account number. For your convenience, you can still view your iLoan online account during the month of September, however you will not be able to view current balance information, new statements or make payments.

Today I access important loan documents in my iLoan online account. Will I still be able to access these documents with OneMain?

Within your OneMain online account you will be able to access your paperless statements, however you will no longer have access to any other loan related documents previously available in your iLoan account. We encourage you to print or download and save any important documents prior to September 1, 2018.

Billing Statements

Are there changes to my billing statement?

Yes. Your monthly statement will now have the OneMain name and logo on your envelope and statement. The amount due and due date on your statement will not change, but your billing statement will have a new look, account number and payment mailing address. If you have any questions about your payment, please call OneMain at 800-742-5465. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 8 pm ET.

I receive paperless statements. Will anything change?

Yes, you will receive your first OneMain billing statements via mail. After September 1, you may create an online account at and request paperless statements to stop receiving paper statements. If you do not create a new OneMain online account, you will continue to receive your statements via mail.


Will I receive communication from OneMain?

Yes, you will receive an official welcome email or letter from OneMain after September 1 with information about your new account and instructions for accessing your account online and making a payment.

Has a notification also been sent to the co-borrower of my loans?

Yes, we are sending a notification to borrowers and co-borrowers of your loan when applicable.

Will there be any new benefits?

Yes. New benefits include the following:
  • Free credit score - When you set up your new online account with OneMain, your VantageScore® credit score will be available to view automatically each time you log into your online account. Please note, it may take up to 3 months for your score to become available after you enroll in your new online account.
  • OneMain Rewards - You can enroll in the OneMain Rewards Program through your new OneMain online account. It's simple to activate and easy to earn rewards toward gift cards to popular restaurants and retailers by doing things like making on-time payments and connecting with us online.*
